1960s Madison story by Pat Small
Small, a Milwaukee resident, spent most of his life politically active. In his earlier life, he spent time at the Milwaukee Sentinel, getting involved at the Chicago Convention and protesting the reelection of Richard Nixon. His most memorable moments were meeting John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who personally helped fund posters for his events and paid for his lawyers in Miami. Today, Small is getting involved again and fighting for his community in Milwaukee.
