Chuck Lane

Oral history interview with Chuck Lane. Chuck is the current owner of Lane's Bakery in the South Madison neighborhood, originally established by his grandfather in 1954. Chuck talks about baking since he was six years old, learning from the knowledge passed down to him by his parents, and taking over the business along with his brother. He also shares memories of growing up in South Madison and the strong community ties he's maintained over the decades.
